Two Symphony co-founders have been named in the shortlist of the Global Sourcing Association’s (GSA) Professional Awards. Symphony Chief Strategy Officer, Ian Barkin is contending for Automation Champion of the Year, while Chief Client Officer, Pascal Baker is in the running for Digital Champion of the Year. As a widely respected association in the sourcing industry, the GSA is hosting the Professional Awards to “celebrate the teams and individuals that demonstrate exceptional sourcing practice, epitomizing the value that the sourcing industry adds to businesses around the globe.” Last year, Symphony COO David Brain was named by GSA as the Consultant of the Year. Below is a brief summary of what Ian and Pascal have been up to:
As Symphony CSO, Ian’s focus is to design digital operations strategies, incorporating the Symphony Digital Ecosystem of partners, and future-proof delivery models including Robotic BPO (R-BPO), Managed Centers of Excellence (M-COE), and Digital Design thinking.
Pascal’s charge at Symphony is creating growth in new markets, geographies and service lines through strategic contracts, partnerships and acquisitions. He is focused on empowering a world-class sales organization to deliver on the promise of ‘orchestrating the world’s work’ to leading global organizations.
