We are very pleased to announce that Andrew Burgess, Consulting Director at Symphony, has secured another years tenure on the Council of the National Outsourcing Association. This erstwhile group is responsible for shaping the strategic focus of the NOA, and delivering the vision which will help to grow and shape the UK outsourcing industry in 2016 as well as improve the positive reputation of outsourcing globally.

Andrew was a key member of the Council last year, championing Robotic Process Automation as a vital component in the outsourcing sector. He was also instrumental in the development of the NOA’s professional qualification in RPA. Voted in again by the NOA’s members, Andrew commented, “It’s a real privilege to work with such a great team at the head of the outsourcing sector. RPA and AI are such disruptive forces it is important that everyone understands how these new technologies will impact us all in 2016 and in the years to come. There has been so much hype around RPA and AI that it often confuses rather than clarifies the benefits. I see it as a crucial role to move RPA from hype to reality”.

Kerry Hallard, CEO of the NOA, said of the Council: “I am extremely pleased with the broad representation and sheer depth of experience present within this year’s NOA Council. The newly appointed representatives will be integral to the delivery of the NOA’s future strategy, furthering our efforts to professionalise the industry and strengthen the UK’s future as the strategic global hub of outsourcing. ”
