NOA Professional Awards

We are pleased to announce that David Brain has been shortlisted by the National Outsourcing Association for two awards: Automation Champion of the Year and Consultant of the Year.

The NOA’s Professional Awards are a distinct set of accolades recognising talent in outsourcing and shared services, showcasing individuals and functional teams who make a big difference.

David is Symphony Venture’s COO and one of the founders of the transformation consultancy that is at the forefront of the Robotic Process Automation revolution. His career has included leading the solution design of billion pound outsourcing deals across the public and private sector, developing BPO product suites, designing transformation methodologies, and building industry-leading Incubation Labs. In 2014 David gained recognition as the pre-eminent expert in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), building BPO’s most recognized capability in the field, achieving top position on the HfS RPA premier league for his firm at the time. David has since deployed many of the leading automation tools to great effect across the Healthcare, Telecoms, Travel, Retail, Mortgage and Insurance sectors. Since November 2015, David has designed and built Symphony Ventures’ delivery capability in his role of Chief Operating Officer. At Symphony Ventures David has designed and built the consulting, implementation and managed service capability serving a global client base. He has established Symphony’s four delivery locations in the UK, Poland and (two in the) USA and is now establishing the teams in each location to meet increasing client demand.

As a result of this capability, subject matter expertise and insight, Symphony has been recognised as a leading automation service provider by Everest, HfS and was awarded Gartner Cool Vendor 2015.

David says of the award, “It’s a tremendous honour to be shortlisted for these prestigious awards. My vision for automation within outsourcing is one that sees it becoming far more central in solutions. I see automation being used in place of labour arbitrage and, in doing so, reshaping global delivery models.”

The distinguished individuals and teams will be celebrated at the Awards Ceremony on Thursday 19th May 2016 and this year will take place at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.
